May 28, 1894—Virginia Cary Hudson was born in Versailles, Kentucky, the only child of Jessie G. Hudson and Richard N. Hudson V.

1915–1923—R. N. Hudson had a country home built near Cloverport, with a private airplane landing.
November 21, 1916—Virginia Cary Hudson Cleveland, Virginia’s first daughter, was born.

Early 1920s—Virginia divorced and remarried Kirtley S. Cleveland.

1929—L. H. & St. L. was consolidated with L & N.  R. N. Hudson became staff officer for operation of the L & N.
January 17, 1930—Richard Hudson Cleveland, Virginia’s first son and third child, was born. K. S. Cleveland was in Cuba.
1930—Per the census, Virginia and family resided at 30 Reeser Street, Louisville.
October 1936—Virginia and family took up residence at 1439 St. James Court, Louisville.
December 19, 1936—R. N. Hudson ate his last meal at the Pendennis Club.
January 1937—The great flood struck Louisville.
*January 25, 1937—R. N. Hudson died.
*February 10, 1937—R. N. Hudson was buried in Cloverport.
*July 8, 1938—Jessie G. Hudson purchased 1453 St. James Court, Louisville.
1939 to 1954—Virginia served as secretary and treasurer and then president of the St. James Court Association.
January 22, 1942—Jessie G. Hudson died.
*1948–1954—Virginia gave talks to the Women’s Auxiliary at Calvary Episcopal Church and to adult Sunday classes for women.
Thursday, April 8, 1954—Virginia died.
