Beverly was the featured speaker (via Zoom) on June 25, 2022, at the Margaret Hall School Alumnae Reunion, held at the Woodford Inn, Versailles, Kentucky. The Inn is located on the former property of the Clevelands, the family of Beverly’s maternal grandfather, Kirtley S. Cleveland. Beverly’s presentation was entitled: “Virginia Cary Hudson, New Discoveries in Old Archives.” Approximately 50 alumnae attended.

The Margaret Hall School for Girls in Versailles, Kentucky, founded in 1891, was given to the Episcopal Order of Saint Helena by the Diocese of Lexington in 1931. Despite heavy debt and the need for extensive repairs, the sisters managed to build it into an excellent small college preparatory school. Unfortunately, circumstances forced the closure of the school in 1979.
